What Should I Do Now?!
Are you a new parishioner at St. John the Baptist? Have you been a member for many years but are looking to come "closer to the family"? The best part about being a part of St. John the Baptist parish is that the church family can become a central and important part of your daily life. Spiritually and socially you can be a part of something very special that will guide your daily life and grow your faith.
Review the list at right for some great ideas. But this is just the start! Look over the Parish Life tab to get an idea of some of the different organizations that make parish life at St. John's so vital and rewarding!

- Participate in crafting to support the Christmas Bazaar
- Greet parishioners at Masses as part of Hospitality Ministires
- Play songs with the ensemble band once a month
- Decorate for Vacation Bible School
- Maintain a parish scrapbook
- Join the Family Guild and raise money to support the next Communion class
- Serve coffee at the next monthly breakfast
- Bus tables or make desert for the Lenten Fish Dinners Donate household items at the Curiosity Shop during the Midsummer Festival
- Set up food tables for the parish Mardi Gras social
- Read the readings at an occasional Children's Liturgy in the Chapel
- Sing in the choir
- Join the Catholic Women's Union for fun and fundraising for the churh parking lights
- Help clean the church before Christmas
- Participate in the next Marriage Preparation classes by preparing the light snacks for the group
- Donate supplies or your time to the next Children's Lenten Adventure
- Create and distribute flyers for the Dramatic Stations of the Cross program
