Franciscan University WEekend Conference

Two buses of high school students are heading to Steubenville, Ohio from Friday, June 18th to Sunday, June 20th for a Catholic Teen Retreat. This will be the best summer of their lives! Teens must be entering 9th grade by Fall 2010 to attaend. Friends are welcome! Spots fill up quicly because nearly 40,000 teens attend these conferences all summer!. What Have We Been Up To?

Genesis 1 teens have a great time when they get together. Some of the events in fun and service include:
- Movie night on the lawn
- Christmas caroling around town
- Ice skating and serving at the soup kitchen
- Laser tag and rock climbing
- Picnic party at Christy Joy
- Fall Hayride and fun in Friedensburg
- Bingo at York Terrace
- Thanksgiving Mass
- Advent Mass

gEnEsiS 1 - AKA Youth Group

Youth Group at St. John the Baptist Parish welcomes anyone 6th through 12th grades. Combining a wide variety of Spiritual, Service, and Social activities, St. John´s Youth Group encourages teens and pre-teens to find a “home” in their church.

Romans 12 is a local mission trip where you can be a living sacrifice. If your gift is to serve, serve well. Never be lazy in your work, but serve the Lord enthusiastically.

The annual trip is in July and is at the Christmas Pines Campground in Auburn, PA
The cost is only $50 which includes camping, eals, snacks, entertainment, T-shirt and a group picture!
